2:23:16 PM Chairman Murdock Public Hearing and Decision on a Change of Preliminary Plat Conditions for Spanish Peaks Resort, Phase 2
2:23:32 PM County Planner Tim Skop Staff Report, noted modification to language of Condition #19 to read as follows: a. A Memorandum of Understanding shall be signed between the Montana Department of Transportation and the Subdivider prior to final plat approval regarding improvements to the intersection of South Fork Road and Highway 64. Subdivider shall participate proportionately in improvements as deemed appropriate by MDT. b. Vehicle turnouts on South Fork Road shall be provided according to AASHTO standards. A detailed study showing the locations of each turnout, sight distance information, and signage shall be submitted to the Road and Bridge Department and approved prior to final plat approval. c. Stop signs shall be installed according to the 2003 TIS.

3:06:52 PM County Planner Tim Skop Suggested Language to Condition #19 to read as follows: Applicant will provide a letter to Gallatin County committing to entering into a Memorandum of Understanding with Montana Department of Transportation that outlines improvements to the intersection of Ousel Falls, Montana 64 and includes proportionate share of funding based upon review of the 2007 Traffic study. Stop signs shall be installed according to the 2003 Traffic Impact study and then staff comment would be subsequent phases, the conditions for the intersection will be very specific as to the required improvements and those requirements will be based on Montana Department of Transportation comments and County conducting a third party review of the 2007 Traffic Impact study.
